Dr. Inoka Gamage

Veterinarian/ Owner

Dr. Inoka Gamage grew up in Sri Lanka surrounded by lots of cats and dogs. Her love and empathy towards animals gave her the desire to pursue her career as a veterinarian. She received her bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and animal science degree in 2002 from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. She worked as a veterinarian in various fields until she moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2009 with her husband and two sons.

In Canada, she obtained her masters degree in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013. In 2016, she was fortunate to follow the VSTEP (Veterinary Skills Training and Enhancement Programme) held by the University of Guelph. Successful completion of this programme helped her learn the hands-on aspects of veterinary medicine required for the North American veterinary environment.

In 2017, Dr. Inoka, as a fully licensed small animal veterinarian, started working at a high volume clinic in Saskatoon. Her drive to own her own practice with the heart felt mission of providing tender, loving, care to furbabies resulted in the establishment of the Fairlight Veterinary Services. She enjoys the daily interactions with cats, dogs, and their amazing caring parents. Dr. Inoka and her family share their home with three loving dogs and two cuddling cats.
